What is stored on your device

Hide Quickly keeps a few things in your own browser's local storage: your current streak, your best streak, your sound setting, and a player name that was generated for you. That is all it stores, and it stays on your device. There are no accounts and nothing to sign in to.

Ads and cookies

Hide Quickly shows ads served by Google AdSense, which helps pay for the game server. The game itself sets no cookies, but Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technology to show ads, to measure them, and to limit how often you see the same one. Where you have agreed to it, those ads can be personalised to your interests; if you are in the UK or the EEA you are asked first, and you can say no.

You can read how Google uses information from sites that show its ads at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and turn personalised ads off at myadcenter.google.com.

What the game server sees

While you are in a round, the game server keeps that match in memory so it can run the round. It does not store your name or your IP address after the match ends.

Analytics

There is no analytics tracking in the game.
